Breathe Girls Groups offer tweens and teens a comforting space to connect with peers and practice mindfulness through breathing, moving, and stretching. Sessions are offered in Bend, Oregon.

Upon Request

Give your group a strong foundation and helpful tools for communication, self advocacy, self regulation, and finding balance with everything. We’ll practice breathing, yoga and meditation, and engage in some fun games to foster communication and connection. Participants will learn how to strike a healthy balance with cell phones and social media—and practice valuing themselves and others highly.  Participants will learn tools to succeed in school and life. Workshops can be tailored to your specific needs. For all ages and genders. Facilitator: Amy Parks.

Breathe to Shine Office
near Discovery Park, Bend, OR

Girls gather to spend time sharing, moving, creating, and experiencing the calm associated with mindfulness. Amy will lead the girls in mindfulness activities to encourage slowing down and being present, including a mindful snack each session. Participants will stretch and try some healthy yoga movement and bonding games. Often we will spend some creative time making small art projects. One of the greatest benefits of group thrive time will be connection and communication. We’ll learn to acknowledge each other without judgment and celebrate our inherent uniqueness and our inherent connectivity. Facilitator: Amy Parks

Meet Amy Parks

Founder of Breathe to Shine

Amy Parks has one passion: helping girls become their best selves! Her experience working with kids extends over 30 years as a teacher, Girl Scout leader, and parent of four daughters. Along with a Masters in Education, Amy has training in Yoga Calm, Peace in Schools, Greater Good Science Center, and service learning.
